The owner of Food Plot&Farm has held a Virginia state contractors licence since the late '70s.
We have been involved the past 6 years with organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, and Quail Unlimited; in our quest for the perfect food plot.
Our back ground in the building trade has given us the skills required for the fence and structure part of the business.
We have owned horses, and currently run hunt tests and field trials with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. The knowledge of the needs of horses and dogs combined with the building skills enables us to relate to the needs of other owners.
The company does work in all counties if the work is big enough to warrant pulling in on the job.
Prescribed burns are accomplished with the use of our crew, a special built brush truck, and a tractor. Burning is one of the most inexpensive ways to improve your habitat for most all game animals and birds.
We perform maintenance on large or small farmets, including bush hogging, tilling, disking, etc. Our maintenance procedures eliminate the need for a new land owner to purchase a big tractor and all the needed implements. Once the project has been established, it can be maintained by the land owner with a smaller tractor, or maintained by us.
We are licensed, insured, and will supply references on request, so your quest for the company to take care of your property is over.
